What Briton was watching
Over 15 years in the trade, Briton Davis watched a pattern repeat across this market: local HVAC companies getting bought up by larger, private-equity-backed organizations. The trucks kept the same names for a while. What he believed was going out the door underneath them was craftsmanship, care for the people doing the work, care for the customer, and someone local who actually answered for the job.
He didn't think that was inevitable. So he built the company he thought the market was losing.
